Jacqueline Shelley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker receiving her MSW and license in 1989.

In addition to masters education, Jacqueline has certifications in Family Therapy, Group therapy, Hypnotherapy, and now Havening Techniques.

Jacqueline has had a broad array of experience in helping using her skills in various settings with many issues. For over ten years she employed her skills in addiction services, increasing her awareness of the body/mind connection, understanding that healing from addictions requires attention to early childhood, current and repressed traumas. At that time she practiced using multi modal treatment, including verbal and movement therapy.

Jacqueline continued her career in private practice with adolescents and adults. Concurrently, she became the Director of a mental health clinic.

These experiences she reports prepared her, in part, for a deeply personal and difficult crisis in her own family. From 2012-2015, Jacqueline’s beloved son Daniel became severely ill at the age of 13. As a mother, caretaker, therapist, she worked to discover help to improve the quality of his health and life. Jacqueline and her son became immersed in traditional and alternative technologies of healing. It was his dream and determination to overcome the physical and psychological consequences of his illness. They used yoga ,accupunture, music, art, meditation, exercise and medicines for relief .

It was during this time Jacqueline experienced the healing power of touch. Prior to awareness of Havening, Daniel would ask his mother to stroke his face: especially his forehead. cheeks, jaw and ears. She would also rub his arms, back, shoulders and hands. This was experienced as the most effective method of all for relief of his pain and anguish, and was a source of comfort for both.

In 2017, Jacqueline found Havening which provided the science and a specific technique to explain her experience with touch that was so profound for Daniel.

Jacqueline has spent time integrating these personal and professional experiences to bring her unique ability to help others achieve peace, accomplish goals and live fully under any circumstances.
